IE Hosts Workshop for Jordan Chamber of Industry on Solar Heat Technologies

A workshop at the JCI building in Amman brought together JCI and the Amman Chamber of Industry (ACI) to discuss advancements in Solar Heat for Industrial Processes (SHIP) technologies. Participants explored market trends, policy studies, and SHIP potential in various industries.

In July and as a part of the JOSSI project, IE held a workshop at the Jordan Chamber of Industry (JCI) in Amman, with the Amman Chamber of Industry (ACI) also attending. The session focused on market updates, industrial heat demand, and Solar Heat for Industrial Processes (SHIP) technologies. Participants engineers, including energy managers from both JCI and ACI, explored different CSH technologies and strategies for assessing SHIP potential in factories.

The workshop successfully facilitated knowledge sharing between industry leaders from ACI and JCI, highlighting the latest advancements in solar heat technologies and their potential impact on Jordan’s industrial sectors. Participants left with a deeper understanding of CSH technologies and the strategic steps needed to assess SHIP opportunities within factories. This collaboration marks a significant step towards fostering sustainable energy solutions and enhancing the competitiveness of Jordanian industries in the global market.
